The Dacia brand is also often referred to as "Romania's Volkswagen" because the robust vehicles are considered to be particularly durable. And indeed, the carmaker has been pursuing a very specific philosophy for decades: to build affordable vehicles that are less of a status symbol and more convincing in terms of reliability, well thought-out details and spaciousness.

About Dacia
The brand name Dacia refers to the past of the country Romania, which once formed the Roman province of Dacia. In Latin Dacia means… "Dacia", quite simply. Passenger cars have been built in Romania under this name since 1968. As a subsidiary brand of the car manufacturer Renault, Dacia has been successfully established since 1999. Within five years of the takeover, the Renault Group invested 489 million euros in modernizing the Dacia plants. The development as well as the marketing of the individual models have made a significant leap forward. The model logo shows the blue Dacia lettering against a silver background. Dacia does not intend to be a premium manufacturer, but offers vehicles for everyone. Its model range is in the lower price segment so that everyone can afford a new car and the more used cars. Nevertheless, Dacia has a high quality standard. The brand attaches great importance to not presenting its own models as second-class vehicles - freely according to the motto: "Dacia - a status symbol for those who don't need a status symbol".
Do you see a vehicle primarily as a means of transport and less as a status symbol? Then you belong to the target group of the Romanian manufacturer. Dacia deliberately does not focus on the premium or luxury segment, but produces solid vehicles at a very reasonable price. It is not for nothing that many Dacia models are advertised as the cheapest new and especially used cars in their class: Sandero, Spring or Dokker Van. If you need more space in the interior, the Dacia models Logan, Lodgy or Dokker might suit you. If you prefer SUVs with a high seating position, then you should take a closer look at the Dacia Duster. Which non-status model appeals to you?
