About Renault
On February 25, 1899, the "Societe Renault Freres" was officially launched, founders were Louis Renault and his brothers Fernand and Marcel. The history of the development of the company and the brand is very long, rather complicated and full of important turning points. The French car manufacturer Renault has always been one of the "big players" in the industry, but since the establishment of the strategic alliance with Nissan in 1999, the company's position has improved significantly. For example, in 2010 Renault-Nissan was the fourth largest car manufacturer in the world: with as many as 6.7 million vehicles produced. In the early days, the logo was reminiscent of a medallion containing the initials of the three founding brothers. Today, the diamond has become the "Renault Rhombus", it now stands free and without the yellow background it used to have
It is no secret that Renault tends to be found in the lower price range with its models. The car manufacturer wants to appeal to the masses with its cars and provide them with good everyday vehicles. Renault engines have a high reputation. They have already proven that they are robust and have a lot of power to offer in Formula 1. In the usual road traffic Renault relies on a high variety of different energy sources. In general, it should be noted that the Renault brand puts the best technology into its engines. In terms of electric motors as well as gasoline and diesel engines, Renault's designers are pioneers. This is equally reflected in numerous development partnerships with other manufacturers. Brief summary of Renault models: Twingo, the perfect entry-level model; Clio, the compact darling; Megane, the flagship; Scenic, the spacious family carriage; Espace, the huge family van; Kadjar, the new sporty SUV, and ‘working’ models: Kangoo, Express and Trafic.
