About BMW
The brand's long history is already reflected in its logo: The blue and white colours not only symbolize the Bavarian homeland, but also recall the company's origins. Emerging from the Rapp Motorenwerke in 1918, BMW initially built aircraft engines, which is why the logo's design is reminiscent of a propeller. It wasn't until 1928 that production began on the company's first in-house model, the BMW 3/20. After BMW established its first successful model line in the 1970s, it began to expand its fleet. To this day, the differences between the models are great: sporty coupes, convertibles, small cars and the luxurious 7 series; from series 1 to 8, through i3, iX and from X1 to X7 model, with Z4 at the end.
No matter what needs you would like to satisfy with the purchase of a car, BMW always has a suitable model for you. The brand serves every niche and has successfully established various series on the market over the years. The 1 Series is the youngest of the classic model ranges. Together with the sporty 2-series, which ranges from the coupe to the convertible to the powerful M2, it forms BMW's compact class. Thanks to the especially initially high annual depreciation, the 1 series can already be found used in a relatively new version at a reasonable price. As a sedan and spacious station wagon, the 3 Series has been one of the bestsellers for generations, which is why it is particularly popular with families as a mid-size vehicle. Due to the high demand, the series also has a low depreciation. In the higher price ranges, the sedan version of the 5 Series is often used as a company car, while the 7 Series serves the luxury class. According to the company, innovations "have been among the BMW Group's success factors since the company was founded" - the future belongs to BMW technologies.
