Strength and sovereignty. These attributes have embodied the Land Rover automotive brand for decades. The manufacturer, which once began with rather spartan and functionally equipped models for British farmers, today consistently combines tradition and modernity.

About Land Rover
British car manufacturer, Land Rover, began producing off-road vehicles and SUVs after the end of the Second World War. Through the planning of the founder Maurice Wilks, the Range Rover series was also created soon after, which supplemented the range with SUVs suitable for everyday use. From Rover's off-road vehicle segment, the Land Rover emerged in 1978 as an independent company based in Warwick. Today, Land Rover is part of Jaguar Land Rover Limited along with several other brands. However, the history of Land Rover began even earlier. Already after the Second World War, the Series I was developed in England, which was based on the American Jeep and was primarily intended for agriculture. In 1948, Land Rover made its debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Range Rover was launched 22 years later. The company logo is simple and classic. The white lettering Land-Rover is emblazoned in a green ellipse, with the colour green referring to its former use in agriculture. To this day, the model range for civilian use exclusively comprises off-road vehicles and SUVs. The absolute classic, as mentioned, is Land Rover, which was launched under the designations Series I (1948 to 1958), Series II (1958 to 1971), Series III (1971 to 1984) and Defender (until 2016).
Land Rover is considered an excellent off-road specialist and is known for its perfectly engineered four-wheel drives. Due to their special use, the Land Rover off-road vehicles have special equipment. For example, the special design of the off-road vehicles with the robust body and the four-wheel drive typical of the series allows easy crossing of uneven ground and high slopes. Range Rover SUVs, on the other hand, place their general emphasis on everyday practicality and comfort. Behind the wheel, you are therefore sometimes supported by the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, a multilayered safety assistance system and the Terrain System 2, which adapts fully automatically to the respective surface and thus ensures a relaxed driving experience. On the market are other Land Rover models under the names Defender, Discovery, Discovery Sport, as well as Range Rover Evoque, Sport and Velar.
